We teach families how to protect themselves from exploitation and abuse. We address complex factors such as poverty, hunger, illness, unemployment, migration, addiction, violence, family breakdown and debt.

While physically in the classroom girls are safe. We provide the materials and funds they need to access their local state school, and keep girls in school by providing access to water, food and shelter.

We model gender equity and invest in the next generation of Cambodian women leaders by providing leadership training to emerging leaders, and funding university places.

Yes, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
On the 18 June 2019 we were approved as a Deductible Gift Recipient with the Australian Taxation Office, so from that date all donations over $2 are tax deductible within Australia.

If you are a sponsor, Business Matters member or a regular donor, you can update your bank details securely using the ‘Manage my Donations’ button in the email you received when you donated (the email came from admin@freetoshine.org). If you’d prefer to provide them over the phone, email Kylie on kylie@freetoshine.org and she’ll arrange to telephone you at a suitable time.
